Post-graduate Italian courses as L2 are provided for:

  • foreign citizens attending Master's or PhD programs or doctoral schools at the University Roma Tre;
  • visiting professors, PhD students, or grant recipients at the University Roma Tre;
  • grant recipients at MAE who intend to follow only an Italian language course offered by the CLA;
  • grant recipients at MIUR, etc.;
  • students coming from organizations with an agreement with Roma Tre University.

Students will be admitted to these courses after an admission test.
Courses will be structured as follows:

  • 40 hours of lessons
  • 20 hours of language laboratory activities (video, audio, reading, writing and guided tours);
  • 15 hours of individual study.

Courses will be activated only for groups which reach a minimum of 8 students, and they will take place approximately:
from October 24th 2016 to Jannuary 17th 2017, and from March 13th 2017 to June 1st 2017 (the dates may vary slightly).

Each course will last for 10 weeks, with two 2-hour meetings a week.

The admission test for all applicants will take place:
on October 19th, 2016 at 09.15 a.m.
for the first course, and
on March 7th, 2017 at 09.15 a.m.
for the second course
at the Centro Linguistico di Ateneo, via Ostiense 131 L, Roma, stairway C/C1, 7th floor.

Courses for level A1 and A2 should take place on Tuesday and Thursday morning, for the other levels the class timetable will be available after the admission test.

The course fee is:

  • € 150 or students in categories 1-4 (see section one above);
  • € 250 for students coming from category 5 (see section one above).

The fee must be paid after the admission test and before classes start to UNICREDIT, via Ostiense 105 A - Roma, using the following bank account details:

The Receipt of the bank transfer should be shown to the CLA Administration office.

The application form can be filled in online at the following address: and should be submitted:
by October 13th, 2016 for the first course (October - December 2016) and
by March 2nd, 2017 for the second course (March - May 2017)
