The University Language Center was established in 1994 within Roma Tre University.
It provides services in the field of language training, responding to the ever-growing needs of the university community:
- it is the university facility for the management of foreign language learning services;
- it provides its services to students of all Departments (except those of Language Study Courses), acting as an integral component of institutional teaching;
- it manages the evaluation procedures and testing of the language skills levels of enrolled students.
The University Language Center offers:
- In-person courses in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese taught by experts instructors and language trainers;
- online learning materials on Moodle platform (CLACSON), accessible from home for all students enrolled at Roma Tre;
- specialized language modules for specific subject areas;
- Italian (L2) courses for international students, delivered both in person and through guided self-study online courses.
- Language exchange opportunities through the Tandem conversation project, in either face-to-face or online (Teletandem) formats.
